Questions

Is a daily forklift inspection required?

In the US, OSHA rule 1910.178(q)(7) says industrial trucks must be examined before being placed in service, at least daily, or after each shift when used around the clock. Check your own company policy too.

What happens if an item fails?

If any critical item (brakes, steering, horn, seat belt, forks/mast, hydraulics, tires, overhead guard) needs attention, the report says to tag the truck out and tell your supervisor. Never operate a truck with a safety defect.

Is my information saved?

No. Your answers are used to write the report and are not stored.
